Scope and contact
This independent website provides editorial tile guidance. For privacy questions, contact [email protected]. Do not include sensitive personal information in a general enquiry.
Data used to deliver the site
When you request a page, the hosting infrastructure necessarily receives technical information such as your IP address and the requested resource. Hosting or security services may record request times, browser information and error details to operate and protect the website. This page does not promise a particular infrastructure log retention period.
The supplied site code contains no advertising trackers, analytics integrations, external font requests or third-party image hotlinks. It does not create an account or profile for visitors.
The local contact tool
The contact tool assembles your name, email, selected topic and question in your browser. Selecting “Prepare note” does not transmit those fields to a server. The tool does not save them in cookies or localStorage. Your browser may independently offer form autofill or restore a page according to its own settings.
“Copy note” writes the prepared text to your device's clipboard when permitted. “Download .txt” creates a text file through your browser. Clipboard contents and downloaded files remain under your device's control; remove them yourself if necessary, particularly on shared devices.
If you send an email
Sending an email through your own email app shares your email address, message content and associated email metadata with the recipient and the relevant email providers. Correspondence may be used to respond, investigate a correction, manage requests and protect against misuse. Do not send material you are not entitled to share.
Correspondence should be retained only for as long as reasonably needed for its purpose and any applicable legal obligations. Specific retention questions can be raised through the contact address. Email and hosting providers may process information in countries different from your own under their applicable service arrangements.
Purposes, rights and choices
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, relevant purposes may include legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and maintaining site security, and compliance with legal obligations. Optional technologies that require consent should operate only with the required permission.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of personal information, object to certain processing, request portability, or complain to an appropriate supervisory authority. These rights are subject to legal conditions. Contact us with enough information to identify your request; proportionate verification may be necessary.
Cookies and external links
See the Cookies page for the storage behaviour of the site code. External links open services governed by their own policies. The guide is intended for general homeowners and is not directed to children; please do not send children's personal information.
Changes
This notice may change if the website's functionality or processing arrangements change. Review it before sending information if the handling of that information affects your decision to contact us.
